The Brock Bridge PTA will be sponsoring a Scholastic Book Fair this
week. Students will be browsing on Friday and shopping with their
classes Monday through Friday. Here is the Schedule. This is a great opportunity to pick
up some early holiday presents.
The Book Fair's theme is To the Book Fair and Beyond: Reading is Out of this World visit the to peruse the online catalog.
The mission of the
National PTA is to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in
the school, in the community and before governmental bodies and other
organizations, to assist parents in developing the skills they need to
raise and protect their children and to encourage parent and public
involvement in the public schools.
The PTA will be sending out regular updates (usually every
weekend) to let you know what's happening at the school. If you're
looking for a piece of information you saw in an update, you can always
contact a board member, but you can also click on the Newsletter button
on the left hand side. All the updates will be kept there.
